Job summary

The Sterling Choice is seeking a Production Shift Manager in Leicester to lead five Line Supervisors across ten production lines and a broader team of around 40 people. The role requires coaching supervisors, driving improvements in OEE, waste, and labour efficiency, and owning shift performance metrics.

Two permanent, Monday–Friday shifts are available with afternoons or nights. You will be the senior on site outside core hours, handling health and safety issues and ensuring standards are met

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in manufacturing.
• Ability to coach and develop supervisors.
• Track record of meeting production targets and improving performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead five Line Supervisors across ten production lines and a wider team of around 40 people.
• Own shift performance metrics: OEE, waste, labour efficiency and labour hours per tonne.
• Coach, train and develop supervisors; conduct difficult conversations when standards slip.
• Be the senior on site outside normal office hours, first point of contact for health and safety and food-safety issues.
