Greggs in Whitehaven is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a small team and put customers first. You’ll be responsible for looking after the shop when the Manager isn’t around, guiding colleagues, and ensuring a friendly, efficient service across in-shop, delivery, and Click+Collect channels.

Typical duties include inspiring the team, serving customers quickly, preparing products, keeping displays stocked, and maintaining a clean, presentable shop.

Formación

• Reliable and able to demonstrate natural leadership abilities with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Previous team supervisory experience in a similar, customer-focused environment is desirable.

• Inspire the team to deliver excellent results and maintain high standards in the shop.
• Lead by example and serve customers in a fast and friendly manner.
• Prepare our products, including making sandwiches and managing ovens.
• Ensure displays are fully stocked and the shop is clean, tidy and presentable.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
