Job summary

Greggs plc is seeking a Shift Manager in Prestatyn, Wales to lead a busy shop and ensure an outstanding customer experience. You will supervise the team, act as a role model, and handle day-to-day operations during the Manager’s absence. Expect fast-paced, customer-focused shifts with opportunities to develop leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Reliability with natural leadership abilities and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience supervising a team in a customer-focused environment is a plus.
• Flexibility to meet availability requirements for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain high shop standards.
• Lead by example, serving customers quickly and warmly.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches, and manage ovens during shifts.
• Keep displays fully stocked and the shop clean, tidy and presentable.

Job description

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.As part of the management team, you’ll be responsible for looking after the shop when the Manager isn’t around. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.We serve our customers across a number of different channels; in-shop, delivery, Click + Collect and drive thru. You'll lead the way in making sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shopLead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly mannerPrepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovensEnsure our displays are fully stocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customersKeep the shop looking clean, tidy and presentable
