Job summary

Greggs plc is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a shop on shift, ensuring excellent customer service across in-store, delivery, Click + Collect and drive-thru channels. You will motivate the team, oversee operations in the manager's absence, and maintain product quality and shop standards.

You’ll inspire the team, handle fast service, prepare sandwiches, manage ovens, stock displays, and keep the shop clean. The role offers weekly pay and extensive colleague benefits at Greggs.

Job description

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first. As part of the management team, you’ll be responsible for looking after the shop when the Manager is not around. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job. We serve our customers across a number of different channels; in-shop, delivery, Click + Collect and drive thru. You'll lead the way in making sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fully stocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean, tidy and presentable
