Job summary

Greggs is seeking a Shift Manager at Tubwell Road Darlington to lead day-to-day shop operations and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service. You will oversee the shop in the Manager’s absence, ensure product preparation, oven management, stocking and presentation, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for customers.

The role is hands-on, with responsibilities across in-store and online ordering channels, to ensure a brilliant customer experience.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop.
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner.
• Prepare our products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens.
• Ensure our displays are fully stocked with plenty of choice for customers.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and presentable.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
