Job summary

Greggs in the East Midlands region is recruiting a Shift Manager to lead the shop when the Manager isn’t present. You will motivate the team, ensure customers have a brilliant experience, and oversee preparation of products and oven management.

You will oversee in-store, delivery, Click+Collect and drive-thru orders, while maintaining shop standards and a welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Proven ability to lead a team and maintain standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shop when the Manager isn’t around.
• Inspire the team to deliver great results and maintain standards.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches and ovens.
• Ensure displays are stocked and shop is presentable.
• Provide fast, friendly service to customers across channels.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
