Job summary

Greggs is hiring a Shift Manager to lead the shop team and ensure outstanding customer service. You’ll be responsible for the shop in the Manager’s absence, motivating staff, and keeping displays stocked and the ovens running smoothly.

With weekend availability, you’ll contribute to delivering fast, friendly service across in-store, delivery, and Click+Collect channels. If you have supervisory experience in hospitality or retail, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• You’ll be reliable and demonstrate natural leadership abilities, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• You’ll be supportive of an inclusive culture - recognising and valuing that difference is good.
• If you’ve got previous team supervisory experience in a similar, customer-focused environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fully stocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean, tidy and presentable

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:
