Job summary

Greggs in Bonnyrigg is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a team and prioritise customers. You’ll cover the shop when the manager isn’t available, motivate staff and ensure an excellent customer experience across in-store, delivery and online orders.

Typical shifts include inspiring the team to maintain high standards, serving customers promptly and warmly, preparing products, and keeping displays well-stocked and shop-presentable. 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Reliability and leadership abilities with a passion for customer service.
• Experience supervising a team in a customer-focused environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver great results and maintain shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers in a fast, friendly manner.
• Prepare products, manage ovens, and keep displays stocked.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and presentable.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
