Job summary

Greggs in Rotherham is seeking a Shift Manager to help lead a team and ensure customers have an excellent experience, whether in-store or online orders.

You will be responsible for supervising the shop in the Manager's absence, inspiring staff, and maintaining standards while supporting a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Reliable with natural leadership abilities.
• Experience in customer-focused environments preferred.
• Able to motivate and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver great results and maintain high shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers in a fast, friendly way.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches and ovens management.
• Keep displays fully stocked with variety for customers.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and presentable.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serveour customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
