Job summary

Greggs is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the team, ensuring customers have a brilliant experience whether they order in-store or online. You will be responsible for shop coverage when the Manager isn’t around and must motivate staff, manage ovens, and maintain displays while upholding high standards.

The role involves leading by example, delivering fast, friendly service, and maintaining a welcoming, inclusive store environment. Previous supervisory experience is desirable.

• Reliable with natural leadership abilities.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to maintain excellent shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers in a fast, friendly manner.
• Prepare products, including making sandwiches and managing ovens.
• Ensure shop displays are fully stocked with a wide range of choices.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.

Salary: £14.00 per hour which includes a 20p per hour band increment.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.You\\'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
