Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage shift operations, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Liaise with other departments to coordinate activities and resolve issues promptly.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven track record at understanding and managing warehouse & picking/loading performance to KPIs
• Experience of involvement in disciplinary, grievance, appraisal and performance management situations
• Experience of having managed a sizeable operation at a Middle or Senior Management level.
• Fully conversant with warehouse processes: Goods In, Goods out, Picking and Packing.
• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
• Clear understanding of systems to ensure food safety and environmental compliance
• PC Literate: An ability to use MS packages including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

The ideal applicant will have minimum 2 year's experience of management within the Logistics sector full job training will be provided.
