Greggs plc in Croydon is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a busy shop floor, manage the team and ensure customers receive a brilliant experience whether in-store, via Click and Collect or delivery.

You will inspire the team, handle food preparation duties, keep displays stocked and shop clean, with weekly pay and a range of employee benefits.

• Previous team supervisory experience in a customer‑facing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Job description

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first. As part of the management team, you’ll be responsible for looking after the shop when the Manager isn’t around. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job. We serve our customers across a number of different channels; in-shop, delivery, Click + Collect and drive thru. You'll lead the way in making sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:
