Job summary

Greggs is hiring a Shift Manager in Kirkintilloch, Scotland. You will lead the shop when the Manager isn't present, inspire the team and ensure excellent customer service across in-store, delivery, and online orders.

Typical shifts run across 5 days of a 7-set week, starting as early as 5am and finishing by 7:15pm. The role includes sandwich preparation, oven management and maintaining stocked displays in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a customer-focused retail setting.
• Proven ability to motivate staff and uphold service standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver excellent results and maintain shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers quickly and warmly.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches and oven management.

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
