The Compleat Food Group is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead a large production team in Milton Keynes, reporting to the Factory Manager. You will drive safe, efficient and high-quality output while fostering a positive, high-performing culture in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

As a proven people leader, you will develop teams, improve performance and play a key role in delivering production targets with a focus on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Shift Manager within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Proven ability to lead, engage and develop large teams.
• Strong understanding of food safety, quality and health & safety standards.

• Lead, motivate and develop production teams to achieve operational and performance targets.
• Ensure the highest standards of food safety, quality, hygiene and health & safety are consistently maintained.
• Drive a positive performance culture through coaching, training and continuous team development.
• Manage labour, resources and production plans to maximise efficiency and productivity.
• Support employee relations activities, including absence management, investigations and performance reviews.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent service and customer satisfaction.

We're looking for an experienced Shift Manager to join our growing food manufacturing operation in Milton Keynes. Reporting to the Factory Manager, you'll lead a large production team, ensuring the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of production targets while driving a positive, high-performing culture.

Previous experience as a Shift Manager within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.

• Proven ability to lead, engage and develop large teams.
• Strong understanding of food safety, quality and health & safety standards.
• Experience managing performance, absence and employee development.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• A proactive, hands-on leader with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Desirable

• IOSH qualification.
• HACCP and/or Food Safety qualifications.
• Engineering or project management experience.
• Auditing experience.
