Job summary

Greggs in Bath is recruiting a Shift Manager to join our fast-paced retail team. You’ll be part of the management group, taking responsibility for the shop when the Manager isn’t around and inspiring the team to deliver great customer experiences.

The role involves preparing products, serving customers quickly and warmly, keeping displays stocked, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store. Contract hours are 25 per week at £14.00 per hour (including a 0.20 pence increment), with a fully flexible

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Reliable and able to motivate a team.
• Experience supervising a shop or retail team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver results and maintain high shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers quickly and politely.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches and ovens management.
• Keep displays stocked and shop tidy and presentable.
• Ensure a clean, welcoming store environment.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
