Job summary

Morgan Gray is seeking a Shift Maintenance Technician (electrical or mechanical) to maintain complex automated production machinery and control systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role covers reactive and planned maintenance across a broad site, driving reliability and uptime.

Applicants should have Level3 NVQ/C&G in mechanical or electrical engineering and relevant maintenance experience; security vetting will be conducted and a clean criminal record plus 5 years UK residence

Qualifications

• Hold a Level3 NVQ/C&G qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Maintenance experience in manufacturing/production or distribution is required.
• Candidates must pass security vetting and have a clean criminal record and UK residence for the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of equipment and control systems.
• Minimise downtime in a high‑speed manufacturing environment.
• Work with modern and legacy machinery across a large factory site.
• Support the Maintenance Manager with site projects and operational requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to boost equipment performance and efficiency.
