Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer based in Corby to keep fast-paced FMCG production running. You will carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on a range of equipment, ensuring high output and minimal downtime.

You'll diagnose PLC faults, perform preventative maintenance, and work as part of a proactive team committed to continuous improvement and modern manufacturing standards. The role offers hands-on development and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A qualification in electrical or multi-skilled engineering (BTEC, ONC, or similar).
• Hands-on experience, ideally gained through a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent.
• A proactive approach and a willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance to keep machinery operating smoothly.
• Diagnosing and fixing faults in PLC systems, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Responding quickly to breakdowns to reduce downtime.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to keep equipment in peak condition.
• Working as part of a team to continuously improve processes and efficiency.
