Job summary

Trinity Resource Solutions partnered with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Shift Engineer to join their Engineering team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on both reactive and preventative maintenance to keep production equipment safe, reliable and efficient.

You will work closely with the Head of Engineering and Production teams to improve plant reliability, reduce downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimise downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
• Support health and safety and environmental compliance.
• Assist with risk assessments and permits to work.
• Participate in call-outs and shift cover.
