Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead in Taunton to drive a great customer experience on the shop floor. You will lead a team across store areas, support colleagues with daily queries, and coach for excellent service.

You’ll communicate clearly, foster an inclusive environment, and stand in for the manager during their absence when needed. Ideal candidates will have retail leadership experience, a passion for service, and strong relationship-building skills to motivate the team and deliver outstanding

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
