Job summary

Tesco UK in Sittingbourne is hiring a Shift Lead to help deliver a great in-store experience. You’ll lead the team, work across store areas and support colleagues with day-to-day queries, ensuring high service standards.

You'll be the on-site leader in the Manager’s absence, make balanced decisions, coach colleagues, and foster inclusive relationships. We offer flexible hours with a guaranteed minimum per week, and opportunities to grow within Tesco.

• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
