Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Shift Lead to guide store teams in delivering exceptional customer experiences on a daily basis. You will coordinate across store areas, coach colleagues, and respond to operational needs with a calm, solution-focused approach.

The role offers progression potential within Tesco’s retail leadership structure, with hourly pay starting at £15.59 and rising to £16.86 in certain stores, reflecting location-based scales and store bands.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.

• A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
