Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead to join our stores in the United Kingdom. You will lead the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, work across store areas, and support colleagues with daily operations.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a proactive approach to service excellence. With a minimum 16 hours per week and pay starting at £15.59 per hour (rising to £16.86 in M25 stores), you will play a key part in keeping the store running smoothly and maintaining

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast‑paced retail environment.
