Job summary

Iceland Hillsborough in South Yorkshire is recruiting a part-time Duty Manager to join our store team. You will work as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 per hour supplement when you manage shifts, with base pay £11.60–£12.71 per hour.

Key duties include driving store availability, leading the team on shift, delivering great customer service, and following cash handling and security policies while upholding our service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail management or supervisory role is ideal but not essential.
• Excellent communication with colleagues to deliver tasks first time, every time.
• Plan and organise shifts using every team member.
• Provide balanced feedback to improve performance.
• Lead on shift to deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Maximise store profitability and availability for customers.
• Sell a £1 & save a £1 initiative to drive sales.
• Follow cash handling and security policies.
• Provide leadership to the team on shift and develop staff.
• Contribute to creating an inclusive store culture.
