Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineer to lead on-site teams, monitor equipment safety, and drive improvements across EU operations. You will oversee maintenance tasks, support development of technicians, and act as a liaison to line managers for admin tasks.

You will work a shift-based pattern including nights and weekends, with opportunities to progress within Amazon’s RME organization across EU sites. Strong leadership and engineering experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 4 years UK certified apprenticeship or equivalent
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Experience as a technical lead in engi­neering
• Experience in MHE or automation environments
• English-language communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate best practice on equipment safety and monitor teams
• Track equipment performance via visual checks and maintenance tasks
• Supervise technicians on shift and be first point of contact for RME
• Resolve equipment issues to reduce downtime
• Suggest and drive EU-wide process improvements
