Job summary

B&Q Newark is recruiting a Shift Lead to oversee daily store operations, ensure safety and deliver a great customer and colleague experience. The role covers early to late shifts, with a 36.75-hour week and flexible part-time options.

This permanent position offers a salary of £27,709.50 per annum plus a corporate pension, six-and-a-half weeks holiday, and benefits. You’ll be the heartbeat of the store, supervising colleagues, deploying staff, and acting as first point of contact for customers.

This is a keyholder position, with shifts ranging from an earliest start time of 7am to a latest finish time of 8pm

Your role as a Shift Lead is pivotal in ensuring a safe working and shopping environment. You’re the person who will oversee your shift to cultivate a great experience for both colleagues and customers daily. It’s B&Q’s ambition to make every customer count, so you’ll strive to ensure B&Q is a place colleagues love to work, and customers love to shop. In this role you will:
