Qualifications

Job Title: Shift Fitter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shift Fitter to join Arriva at our Wrexham depot.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will carry out planned and preventative maintenance, diagnostic fault finding, and reactive repairs on a fleet of buses and coaches, adhering to Arriva and DVSA standards.

Responsibilities
  • Servicing, maintenance, and repairs to meet Arriva and DVSA standards
  • Improving vehicle reliability
  • MOT preparation and quality checks
  • Fault diagnosis and ensuring vehicle reliability
  • Attending roadside breakdowns
  • Shifts between 0500-1600
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in PSV/HGV maintenance
  • Full UK driving licence (6 points or less)
  • Fitness for a PCV pre-employment medical
