Job summary

Holdich Recruitment is recruiting for a Multi-skilled Shift Engineer in the Thetford area. You will join a six‑person engineering team, working a 4 on 4 off, 12‑hour shift pattern, to maintain and fault-find across site machinery and assist in installing new equipment.

The role offers an excellent salary, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, contributory pension, employee discounts, life assurance, and gym membership discounts.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance engineering experience.
• Relevant mechanical/electrical qualifications.
• Strong fault finding ability both electrically and mechanically.
• Experience working within a relevant factory environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide both reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a variety of production machinery including conveyors, packaging equipment, weighing machinery, bagging machinery, labeling equipment, and ovens.
• Fault find both electrically and mechanically.
• Assist in the installation of new machinery.
