Thrive Group are supporting a client in Shepton Mallet recruiting a Shift Engineer on a permanent basis. You will manage the engineering strategy across the site to maximise equipment efficiency and meet operational requirements.

The role involves corrective and planned maintenance on plant machinery, adherence to food safety and quality policies, and working on a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Influence engineering and production teams.
• Carry out and record corrective maintenance on plant machinery and services quickly and efficiently.
• Carry out and record planned maintenance on plant machinery and services as scheduled by the Engineering Department.
• Demonstrate a commitment to food safety and quality policies and procedures.

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Shepton Mallet who are actively looking to recruit a Shift Engineer t to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

• To manage the Engineering strategy across the site, in order to ensure maximum efficiency of equipment, whilst meeting operational requirements.

What you will need to succeed:

• To influence engineering and production teams.
• To carry out and record corrective maintenance on plant machinery and services quickly and efficiently, so as to cause the least amount of machinery downtime.
• To carry out and record planned maintenance on plant machinery and services as scheduled by the Engineering Department.
• Demonstrate a commitment to companies’ Food Safety and Quality policies, procedures and work instructions to produce safe, legal and authentic products to a specified quality.

What you will receive in return:

• £51,510.48 for Shift Engineer for 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
• 2 x 12 hour days, then 2 x 12 hour nights, then 4 off. 06.00 to 18.00, then 18.00 to 06.00.
