Job summary

Mason James Appointments (UK) Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a leading FMCG manufacturer in Nelson. You will maintain pumps, conveyors and packaging machinery, respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime to keep production lines moving.

We value a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, strong mechanical fitting and electrical fault-finding skills, and a proactive mindset to support continuous improvement in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Solid experience in both mechanical fitting and electrical fault finding.
• Background in manufacturing, ideally food, drink, or packaging.
• Proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Nelson

Salary: Starting at £52,000 increasing after probation completed.

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts - 42-hour average week - (Please ask for the visual pattern.)
