The Connaught, part of Maybourne Hotel Group, seeks a talented full-time Shift Engineer to join The Connaught Technical Services team in London. You will contribute to the smooth running of the hotel by undertaking maintenance tasks and promptly repairing electrical, plumbing, heating, and lighting issues during your shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in a luxury hotel maintenance environment is preferred.
• Ability to perform general maintenance and respond to service requests.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

We are looking for a talented and passionate full-time Shift Engineer to join The Connaught Technical Services team at the award-winning 5-Star Deluxe Connaught Hotel.

The Role:

As Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in all areas of the hotel’s interior and exterior, via general maintenance work allocated by the Engineering Department through a service request system. You will be responsible for the efficient repair of all defects reported during your shift. You will be dealing with electrical, sewage, plumbing, heating and lighting issues and will ensure that they are maintained in good working order and that any defects are corrected promptly.

Responsibilities:

You will be a confident communicator, enthusiastic and motivated, with a good eye for detail and accuracy. With this in mind, you will have previous experience at a similar level and have proven skills within a 5-star luxury hotel or similar environment.
