Job summary

PepsiCo in Leicester is seeking a General Support Operator to join our site. The role reports to the Line Operations Manager and features 12-hour continental shifts across nights and days, including weekends and bank holidays, with a salary of £28,711.09 per year.

You will maintain safety, quality and housekeeping standards, perform sanitation duties, manage waste, and handle manual packing and pallet distribution as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator with a positive self-starter attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team and learn in an autonomous role.
• Basic numerical, reading and computer skills.
• Organised and methodical, able to work under pressure.
• Flexible and proactive with solving basic problems.

Responsibilities

• Have thorough knowledge of area for line layout, bin routes, materials and consumables.
• Adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Undertake sanitation duties in line with business needs.
• Waste management including segregation and disposal of waste using correct streams.
• Manual packing, stacking and pallet distribution.
