Job summary

PepsiCo Leicester is seeking a General Support Operator to join our team on a 12-hour continental shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays. The role focuses on maintaining safety, hygiene and efficient line support, with responsibility for packing, pallet distribution and waste segregation.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team, demonstrate a proactive attitude, and adhere to strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator with a positive self-starter attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team and willingness to learn in an autonomous role.
• Basic numerical, reading and computer skills.
• Organised and methodical person, but not afraid of working under pressure.
• Flexible and proactive person with the ability to solve basic problems.

Responsibilities

• Have a thorough knowledge of the area with regard for line layout, bin routes, correct placing of raw materials and line consumables.
• Adherence to business Safety and Quality standards.
• Undertake sanitation duties in line with business needs.
• Waste Management including the segregation and disposal of waste using the correct streams.
• Manual packing, stacking and pallet distribution.
