Job summary

PepsiCo seeks a Production Operator in Coventry to operate and support packaging lines, uphold safety and quality, and work as part of a shift-based team. You will perform basic maintenance, log issues, coach peers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on a continental day shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience operating packaging/production lines is advantageous.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks (cleaning, inspection, lubrication).
• Safety-focused with a proactive approach to near-miss reporting and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate packaging lines and adhere to standards.
• Proactively improve site safety and resolve near misses.
• Own the execution of basic maintenance tasks within autonomous maintenance.
• Identify and log issues/defects on equipment using the site systems.
• Execute line changeovers on equipment autonomously.
• Complete line quality checks and ensure quality standards.
• Escalate unresolved issues during shifts per the process.
