Job summary

SRG is seeking a permanent Shift Analytical Chemist based in North Cheshire. The role requires recent experience in GC, HPLC, and wet chemistry, along with a manual driving license.

Responsibilities include collecting and analysing samples, validating analytical results, and responding to emergencies. Applicants should have an HND or BSc degree in a relevant field and strong time management skills. A generous salary, shift allowance, and 26 days holiday plus statutory days are offered.

Qualifications

• HND or BSc degree in Chemistry, Analytical Science, Forensic Science or similar preferred.
• Recent hands-on industrial experience of GC and HPLC is required.
• Strong team player, able to collaborate and support colleagues as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collecting liquid and gaseous samples from various locations.
• Analysing samples including organic, inorganic and environmental samples.
• Validating and reporting on analytical results.
