Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a SHES Advisor to work with Transportation on Contract/Location. The role focuses on advising managers on health & safety responsibilities and ensuring compliance with SHESQ plans on civil engineering projects.

The successful candidate will bring experience in health and safety within construction, ideally with rail exposure, and will contribute to audits, data analysis and continuous improvement, while supporting the workforce across Murphy sites.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
• Experience conducting SHESQ audits and investigations.
• Ability to analyse data to identify trends and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers and supervisors on SHES responsibilities.
• Ensure personnel understand statutory duties and responsibilities.
• Assist with SHESQ plan compliance and audits.
• Carry out accident/incident investigations and recommend improvements.
• Monitor SHESQ data to drive continuous improvement.
• Support work of committees and working groups.
