Qualifications

• Previous experience within a SHES Advisor, Health & Safety, or similar position.
• Experience on Civil Engineering / Construction Projects.

Responsibilities

• Advise and aid Managers and Supervisors to discharge their Health & Safety responsibilities as defined by legislation and company procedures.
• Ensure personnel are aware of their statutory duties and provide advice as required.
• Aid management teams to ensure compliance with SHESQ Plans.
• Carry out accident/incident investigations and recommend actions to prevent recurrences.
• Manage and collate SHESQ data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Assist and manage the SHESQ audit programme; conduct audits when required.
• Participate in working groups and forums affecting the workforce.
• Participate in committees and joint consultations as required.
• Monitor equipment and ensure safe operation.
• Implement best practice and seek innovations for the business unit.
