Job summary

SF Partners in West Midlands is recruiting a SHEQ Manager to lead the site's safety, health and environmental strategy within a highly regulated chemical manufacturing setting.

The role balances strategic leadership and day-to-day risk management, with responsibility for governance, incident prevention, and continuous improvement, reporting to senior leadership and coordinating with operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a complex, highly regulated manufacturing or process environment with CoMAH.
• Knowledge of process safety, hazardous substances, DSEAR/ATEX and environmental compliance.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders while remaining hands-on with operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety, Health & Environmental strategy and continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership across occupational and process safety.
• Ensure compliance with SHE legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and improve risk assessment, incident prevention and safe working practices.
• Lead environmental compliance and improvement activity.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to improve safety performance.
• Support and develop the SHEQ team.
• Maintain Quality systems as part of the wider SHEQ remit.
