Job summary

The vacancy is for a SHEQ Manager in roofing and cladding, with hybrid or site-based options across UK projects. Salary ranges from £45,000 to £50,000 plus a company vehicle or car allowance and benefits.

The role emphasises safety, quality and environmental performance, with flexibility on site presence and a strong focus on site inspections and governance. Ideal candidates have roofing/cladding or building envelope background and can move into management while retaining hands-on site exposure

Qualifications

Experience leading SHEQ in roofing/cladding or building envelope projects.
Strong understanding of CDM/HSE requirements and Building Regulations.
Ability to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and environment.

Responsibilities

Carrying out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews
Supporting project teams with RAMS, risk assessments and safe systems of work
Managing quality assurance from pre-start through to project handover
Investigating incidents, near misses and non-conformances
Delivering toolbox talks, SHEQ briefings and site coaching
Ensuring compliance with CDM, HSE requirements, Building Regulations and relevant standards
Working closely with site teams, subcontractors and senior management
Driving continuous improvements across health & safety, quality and environmental performance
