Job summary

SER Limited is seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to oversee safety, health, environmental and quality performance across roofing, cladding, rainscreen and fire remediation projects in the UK. The role offers hybrid or site-based options with the possibility to work from Clitheroe, Doncaster or Cannock.

The ideal candidate has a background in roofing or cladding and can develop into a management-focused role while remaining hands-on if desired.

Qualifications

• SHEQ / HSE knowledge and compliance understanding.
• Experience with safety, health, environment and quality management.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews
• Supporting project teams with RAMS, risk assessments and safe systems of work
• Managing quality assurance from pre-start through to project handover
• Investigating incidents, near misses and non-conformances
• Delivering toolbox talks, SHEQ briefings and site coaching
• Ensuring compliance with CDM, HSE requirements, Building Regulations and relevant standards
• Working closely with site teams, subcontractors and senior management
• Driving continuous improvements across health & safety, quality and environmental performance
