McCarthy Recruitment Ltd is seeking a proactive SHEQ Manager for a permanent, full-time role in Warrington. You will lead safety, health, environmental and quality standards across multiple sites, working closely with Directors and site managers to drive continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes visible leadership, collaborative problem solving and hands-on involvement to shape the business's approach to SHEQ. NEBOSH qualification and strong ISO knowledge are highly valued.

Formación

• Previous experience within a Health & Safety, SHEQ, HSEQ or similar role.
• Ambitious, driven and ready to develop your career.
• Experience working with ISO management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and internal auditing.

Responsabilidades

• Working closely with senior leadership and operational teams to continuously improve SHEQ standards
• Building strong relationships with Site Managers and encouraging a positive safety culture
• Carrying out site inspections, audits and risk assessments, identifying areas for improvement
• Supporting the development and implementation of SHEQ policies, procedures and safe systems of work
• Supporting development and continuous improvement of ISO management systems
• Investigating incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and preventive actions
• Providing practical advice, coaching and guidance to employees at all levels
• Supporting environmental compliance and quality standards across sites
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk and strengthen performance
• Encouraging collaboration and shared responsibility for SHEQ across the business
