Job summary

Matchtech leads a strategic SHEQ role as Divisional Director within the power utilities sector. The role oversees health, safety, environment and quality across major projects and DNO frameworks, reporting to the SHEQ Director and guiding a skilled team.

Qualifications

  • Experience in health & safety management, particularly within power utilities and distribution.
  • Strong understanding of ICP and DNO operations.
  • Proficiency in managing projects of capacities from 11kV to 132kV.
  • NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma.
  • Bachelor or Masters in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • TECHIOSH or CMIOSH - Desirable.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective SHEQ strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, environment, and quality.

SHEQ Divisional Director

Our client is seeking an experienced SHEQ Divisional Director to lead their safety, health, environment, and quality operations within the power utilities sector. This is a permanent position that involves overseeing major projects and DNO frameworks, with a focus on ensuring compliance and excellence in SHEQ standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing SHEQ strategies for the power division
