Job summary

Hayley Dexis in Halesowen is hiring a SHEQ Assistant to support, coordinate, and monitor the company's SHEQ policy. You will help ensure legislative compliance, attend and report at meetings, and conduct site audits, joining a UK-wide team.

The role involves conducting risk assessments, internal audits, and developing documentation to meet ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & 50001 standards, with training responsibilities as part of the Hayley Academy.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate required or in progress.
• Knowledge of carbon reduction plans and quality assurance standards.
• Experience applying ISO 9001/14001/45001/50001 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and review risk assessments and method statements.
• Review significant aspects and impacts across the business.
• Conduct internal audits per the SHEQ system and report findings.
• Provide corrective actions and monitor non-conformities.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety guidelines and legal obligations.
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure requirements are met.
• Assist in documentation and reports for ISO 9001/14001/45001/50001.
• Assist in internal staff training under the Hayley framework.
