Job summary

Bulkhaul Limited is seeking a proactive SHEQ Co-ordinator to support the SHEQ Manager in implementing and improving safety, health, environment, quality, and security practices. The role involves audits, risk assessments, policy management, and training to uphold ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards.

Based in Middlesbrough (office based), the successful candidate will drive continuous improvement, monitor performance metrics, and communicate outcomes to senior management while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a SHEQ role.
• Strong knowledge of UK SHEQ legislation and best practice.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (essential).
• Experience with ISO 9001/14001/45001.
• Conducting internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the SHEQ Manager.
• Conduct regular safety audits, workplace inspections, and risk assessments.
• Maintain and monitor the company's SHEQ controls and policies (ISO standards).
• Monitor and report SHEQ performance metrics and contribute to improvement plans.
• Deliver safety inductions and training to promote safety culture.
• Review and draft Risk Assessments, Procedures, Policies & Processes.
• Provide updates to senior managers on SHEQ issues.
• Identify trends in business behaviours and practices.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ legislation and company policies.
• Review ISO audit reports and oversee corrective actions.
• Assist in customer complaint investigations and corrective actions.
