Job summary

Vanrath is seeking a proactive SHEQ Advisor (Fitout) in Antrim, Northern Ireland. The role focuses on maintaining and improving the Integrated Management System and ensuring ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 compliance across live commercial fit-out projects.

You will collaborate with contracts, project managers and subcontractors to uphold safety, quality and environmental standards. The ideal candidate will have UK construction health and safety expertise, site inspection experience, RAMS review

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a SHEQ/HSEQ role within construction, commercial fit-out or related industry.
• Strong working knowledge of UK construction health and safety requirements.
• Practical experience undertaking site inspections and audits.
• Experience reviewing RAMS and construction-related risk assessments.
• Experience working with ISO management systems (9001/14001/45001).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to influence project teams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular SHEQ inspections and audits on live commercial fit-out projects.
• Produce inspection and audit reports highlighting good practice and improvement areas.
• Track corrective actions through to completion and follow up.
• Support project teams in meeting client-specific SHEQ requirements.
• Attend project meetings to provide SHEQ guidance and advice.
• Assist with maintaining and improving the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Support internal and external audits and management reviews.
• Promote a proactive hazard identification and risk management culture.
