Job summary

Irwin & Colton is seeking a Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Advisor to support its teams across London and the Leatherhead area. The role involves promoting strong Health and Safety standards within a busy construction environment, covering projects in M&E and property maintenance sectors, and working closely with operational teams to provide practical guidance.

The successful candidate will have HEQ experience in construction, NEBOSH certification (or working towards) and

Qualifications

• Experience in a SHEQ role within construction, fit out or refurbishment sectors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Driving licence is essential to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Carry out regular site visits and provide advice to managers and teams
• Complete audits and inspections across projects
• Support accident investigations and identify improvements
• Stay up to date with Health and Safety legislation and requirements
