Responsibilities and Qualifications

INTERNAL JOB. This vacancy is only available to Torfaen County Borough Council (TCBC) employees and agency workers currently engaged with TCBC.

We are looking for a Shelving Assistant to work on Saturdays as part of the Torfaen Libraries team at Cwmbran Library.

An enthusiasm for books and reading is required and you will need to be happy to engage with a wide range of customers.

The work is focussed on shelving and tidying library stock which is physically demanding. Accuracy is also important in library work.

You will need good communication and interpersonal skills, have the ability to manage your time effectively and be committed to helping deliver a high-quality service to our customers.
