Job summary

BDS (Northern) Limited seeks a Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager to cover a patch of bungalow properties in the Chadderton area. The role involves daily communication with residents living independently and assessing their daily needs.

You will ensure wellbeing checks, tenancy signups, health and safety, and fire safety compliance, reporting repairs and maintaining a safe environment for vulnerable residents. Enhanced DBS within last 12 months or via Update Service is required.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS within last 12 months or via Update Service.
• Previous experience in sheltered or supported housing is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily communication with residents across dispersed bungalow properties.
• Assess residents' daily needs and support tenancy signups.
• Conduct wellbeing checks, health and safety duties, and ensure fire safety compliance.
• Report repairs and help maintain a safe environment for vulnerable residents.

YOU MUST HAVE ENHANCED DBS FROM THE LAST 12 MONTHS OR ON THE UPDATE SERVICE

The main role is to provide daily communication with the residents who live independently across the dispersed properties.

You will be responsible for assessing resident s daily needs.

Other duties include assisting with tenancy signups, wellbeing checks, health and safety, ensuring fire safety compliance, reporting repairs and ensuring safe environment for vulnerable residents.

Previous experience within a sheltered or supported housing position is preferable.

This role is 36 hours per week.

Pay rate- Up to £15.92ph PAYE or up to £20.56ph UMBRELLA
