Owen Daniels is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join a precision engineering business in Derby. You will manufacture precision sheet metal components using various fabrication techniques and work to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities include sheet metal fabrication and bench work, riveting, spot welding, bonding and brazing, and reading engineering drawings. The role requires experience in regulated environments and is based in Derby, 39 hours per week, days shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in sheet metal working, ideally within aerospace or regulated industries.
• Experience with multiple fabrication processes and tight tolerances is essential.
• Brazing experience in a regulated industry is required for the higher salary band.

Sheet Metal Worker - Derby | £35,179–£38,496 | Permanent | Days

We’re looking for a Sheet Metal Worker to join a precision engineering business manufacturing components for the aerospace industry.

The Role

You’ll be hands‑on manufacturing precision sheet metal components using a range of fabrication techniques.

• Sheet metal fabrication and bench work
• Riveting, spot welding, bonding and brazing
• Working with titanium, aluminium and stainless steel
• Reading engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances
• Using hand tools, machinery and measuring equipment

About You

We’re looking for someone with strong sheet metal working experience, ideally within aerospace or another highly regulated industry.

Experience with multiple fabrication processes and working to tight tolerances is essential. Brazing experience in a highly regulated industry is required for the higher salary band.

£35,179–£38,496 | 39 hours per week | Days | Derby

Monday–Thursday: flexible start between 7am and 8am. Friday finish at 12pm.
