Job description

ITP Aero UK is recruiting for a Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in Hucknall, United Kingdom. This is a full-time role focused on delivering aerospace products on quality and on time, adhering to safety standards.

Role Objectives and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to manufacture aerospace components, following engineering drawings and specifications, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Candidate Profile

Essential qualifications and skills include:

• Recognised apprenticeship in Engineering (NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent)
• Experience in fabrication and manual sheet metal work, including pattern drawing, flattening, forming, bending, and stretching
• Ability to work with engineering drawings and work instructions
• IT literacy, preferably with Microsoft Office experience
• Flexible and adaptable mindset, willing to learn new skills
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean workplace

Desirable skills include:

• Knowledge of lean principles, problem-solving, and quality tools
• Experience in a customer-focused environment with changing demands
• Ability to meet deadlines and participate in continuous improvement

Work Environment

You will work at the Hucknall site, alongside experienced professionals in aerospace manufacturing, within an integrated engineering environment.

Working Hours

37 hours per week on a 3-shift pattern:

• Afternoons: 1.48 pm – 9.30 pm, Monday-Thursday
• 1.48 pm – 7.00 pm, Friday
