Job description

My client has been trading in the Cambridgeshire market since the early 1990's and is a well-established company in their sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit up to two new Workshop Operatives for their busy and modern production facility.

Using workshop machinery such as press brakes, guillotines and folders, you will work as part of a multi-skilled team, fabricating parts used predominantly in the construction sector.

Responsibilities

• Work from simple manufacture drawings.
• Assist with the folding of product on a press brake machine.
• Cut jobs ready for folding using a guillotine.
• Assist in the fabrication of insulated parts.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Worker.
• Commitment to the quality and precision required to produce high-end products.
• Reliable, physically fit and able to work at pace.
• High degree of accuracy and a good attitude towards work.
• Good foundation in maths and willingness to be cross-trained in multiple processes.
